Charlie, Skylar and Merlin were now sitting in a small, crooked pub in a small side road, and were all sipping at their hot chocolates.
"I'm sure of it, it was my dad!" Charlie explained.
"But...Charlie...you said your dad died." Said Skylar.
"Yeah, and he did. I don't know how, or why he's here, but i'm sure that was him!" Charlie pleaded.
Skylar frowned.
"Surely it's impossible for him to be here." Merlin said.
"Well...i suppose. But he looked exactly like my dad! Well, i guess it wasn't really him, it couldn't have been. He would've come to me if it was him. I can hope though." Charlie finished.
They all finished their hot chocolates, and left the pub. The weather had changed drastically. It was now heavily raining, with the odd spot of thunder and lighting. The trio put their hoods on and headed for the horses at the entrance of the city.
"Charlie, you have a look around the shops, me and Merlin will go and gather some mushrooms for tonight's dinner! Meet us back here in 15 minutes!" Skylar explained.
Charlie nodded and headed off to wander the city.
15 minutes later, Charlie reconvened at the horses as planned, but they weren't there. Lightning struck extremely loudly, and Charlie jumped a little. He began to get slightly worried, so headed in the direction of where they went. There was no sign of them.
"Skylar! Merlin!" Charlie bellowed over the loudness of the dreadful weather.
There was no reply.
Charlie saw a hooded man run between the tree's in the distance, and a quick glimpse of dazzling blonde hair. He started running towards the man as fast as he could, the rain and wind hitting his face.
"CHARLIE! HELP!" Screamed a girl.
It was Skylar.
"SKYLAR!"
Charlie saw Skylar and Merlin being held over the should by two cloaked men.
"NO!" Charlie exclaimed at the top of his voice.
There was a loud crack, and they were gone.
Charlie was breathing heavily, hair sopping wet, clothes completely drenched, tears streaming down his face. He ran back to the horses, jumped onto Starlight, and attempted riding of back to the tree.
He tried to copy what Skylar did on the horse, and it worked quite well. 20 minutes later, he had arrived at the tree, where he tied up the horse, and entered. He chucked off his coat, ran up to his bed, laid on it, and started sobbing to himself.
"Charlie, help us." Said Skylar
She was locked up in a prison cell with Merlin. She had cuts all over her face, and was tied up to a wall. Charlie then saw a large, intimidating castle looming over him.
Demons Castle.
Charlie shot up, and looked at the clock. It was 7 o'clock the next morning. He rubbed his eyes, and felt tears running down his face.
"Be brave, Charlie." He said to himself as he wiped the tears away.
