Hey everyone!
I'd like to say thanks for all the views first, i never expected to get this many?! Haha! Hopefully i can get even more after I post this.
It was a miserable, rainy day in the city of New York. Hannah sat up in bed, and gave a big yawn. She slowly crawled out of bed, put her slippers on and walked to the kitchen. Hannah lived in a very modern penthouse in New York, overlooking Central park. She was a very wealthy young woman, aged 24.
Just as she was about to pour herself some orange juice, there was a loud bang at the door. Hannah slowly put the orange juice down, and walked to the door.
"Who is it?" She queried
"Your boyfriend..." Replied Tom
Hannah grew a large grin on her face, and opened the door, welcoming a large hug from Tom.
"How is my princess this morning?" He asked.
"She is very well, thank you" She replied.
Hannah started to make eggs for them, but Tom interrupted.
"Nah Hannah, let's go down to the cafe, get a proper breakfast. We all know you can't cook" Tom said, jokingly.
Hannah laughed, and got dressed, ready to face the horrible weather. 10 minutes later, they had left the flat and were making their way down to the cafe.
"Put the umbrella up Tom!" She yelled, over the loud pattering of the rain.
Tom extended the umbrella, and put it over Hannah and himself.
"This is cozy, eh?" Tom bellowed
Hannah looked at him, with makeup dripping down her face.
"Oh totally." She replied
They reached the zebra crossing, with the cafe opposite them.
"Let's cross!" Tom yelled
"TOM!"
Tom stepped out. BANG.
A car rammed into Tom's side, and he rolled over the car, and collapsed on the other side. There was a choir of screams all around Hannah. She ran over to Tom, and keeled over.
"TOM! NO! SOMEONE HELP! HE'S DEAD! HE'S DEAD!" She screamed at the top of her voice.
Everyone just stood at the side of the road, hands covering their mouths in horror.
"SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!" She yelled again.
3 Minutes later, the ambulance arrived, and Hannah got in the car.
"Ma'am, I'm sorry, but he's dead." Said one of the paramedics.
Hannah sat their, not blinking, staring at the wall in horror.
"Can you tell us what happened? Was it the cars fault? Was it...what's his name?"
"T-T-Tom" She stuttered
"Ok."
They arrived at the hospital, and Hannah was sat down in the waiting room, and was given a cup of tea. After 5 minutes, she stood up, and slowly walked out of the hospital, staring ahead.
"Ma'am? Where are you going? We need you for an investigation!" Yelled a police officer
Hannah completely ignored him, and carried on walking out of the building, until she left.
"Someone go after her!" Yelled another police officer
"No, we have her number and address, leave her." Said another
Hannah didn't look back, she just kept on walking, the destination set in her mind. She reached her block of flats, entered the lift to her apartment, and ascended. She walked into her apartment, chucked her hand bag on the sofa, and walked to the balcony door. As she was about to open the door, her mobile rung.
She turned round slowly, and picked up the phone from her bag.
"Hannah? I've just heard the news. I don't know what to say?" Said the person on the other end.
Hannah didn't say anything.
"Hannah? Look i'm nearly at your apartment, i'll be there in a second, hang on!"
Hannah hang up, and dropped the phone on the floor. She walked out onto the balcony, and closed the door behind her.
The woman that was on the other end of the phone was Hannah's sister. She walked up to Hannah's apartment, and saw the door wasn't closed properly, so walked.
"Hannah?"
She walked further into the apartment, and saw her mobile phone on the floor.
"Hannah! Where are you?"
Hannah's sister looked up, and saw Hannah standing on the wall of her balcony.
"HANNAH!" She yelled
She ran to the door, but Hannah had locked it.
"HANNAH LISTEN TO ME! GET OFF THEIR NOW!" She yelled, again.
She banged on the door, trying to get Hannah to turn around and face her. She then started kicking it, trying to brake the lock.
Hannah turned around, and said.
"Goodbye."
She fell backwards, out of sight.
"NO!"
BANG.
